So I'm not sure if it's okay to post this here, but if not let me know and I'll take it down as soon as I can. I've signed up for the spn_30snapshots challenge on LiveJournal, which involves writing 30 short fics from prompts using characters that you decide on in advance. So I decided to do a pre-series set of short fics in which Eliot meets Dean Winchester when they are in their teens.

So far I've written/posted the first five stories and thought I'd share the links with people here, in case anyone was interested ...

1: S'mores "The boys were laughing and Jim could hear them from where he stood inside the kitchen. It was a good sound."

2. The Smell of Friendship "When Eliot had first arrived, he’d been withdrawn, quiet almost to the point of insolence although he’d followed every instruction he’d been given"

3: First Meetings "Dean and Sammy stood alongside Pastor Jim after the Sunday morning service, itching to get back to the Pastor’s house and change into their usual clothes, but right now they had to wait until all the congregation had spoken to the Pastor and gone home."

4: Quiet Moments "Dean was sitting with his feet dangling into the water, almost on the verge of falling asleep."

5: Walking Home "Jordan was with them, which was why the Pastor had said it was okay for them to walk Eliot home."
