Some of you may be familiar with the LJ SGA community mcsmooch . It's function is simple, periodically there are festivals of kissing announced. Fanworks are posted, fic, art, picspam, all around the theme of kissing.

Now, we are about to have to suffer for a while without and new episodes of Leverage, so should we console ourselves with a similar community here on Dreamwidth?

If there's interest, I'll do the leg work and make the community and start the first fest soon after tomorrow's episode.

What I would keep from the SGA community is the easy-going feel, no minimum word count, nothing to commit to, just come and share some kisses with the community. I would also restrict the community to new works only and all work must be posted to the community. I would make some kind of arrangement similar to what kink_bingo did so that non-Dreamwidth account holders could participate. Also I have, and I'm sure some of you have, invite codes going spare.

What I would change is the pairing-specific nature of the community. Leverage fandom is more about spreading the love around to everyone, I think. So all kisses would be welcome, Gen, Het, Multi, Slash, RPF, Angsty, Happy, Silly, whatever you want, as long as they feature Leverage characters.

So what do you think? Do you need some Leverage kissing in your life? Do you want to come out and play?
