ooooh cute! I love how excited Breanna gets about the computer

Though I do think most libraries intentionally don't keep records of books that have been returned to preserve privacy, so the idea that they could pull his whole history like that seems a bit odd haha

Yeah, I am guessing it's a small rural library that might not keep up with things, judging by the computer.

Yeah, and Breanna's probably never even seen a card catalog. I haven't, and I've worked in libraries for years.

They might have an opt-in patron reading history, but there's no way it'd go that far back.

I think she’s referring to some sort of digital catalog when she says card catalog? she’s still doing stuff at the computer when she says that line I think

Yeah, it's a digital catalog, I just haven't heard anyone younger than my grandparents call a digital catalog a card catalog in decades. Not a real issue, though :)
